Default Stealth 72v Night Hawk 4x4 All Power Wont Move

I have a 2011 Stealth 72v Night Hawk 4x4. My wife was driving it in our yard a couple of days ago when she heard a loud pop followed by the wheels locking up. It has full power, however the wheels will not turn in forward,reverse,2wd,or 4wd. Hoping Sunoco or one of the many experts on here might be able to shine a light on the situation. Any guidance is greatly appreciated as the machine is currently stuck in our yard. Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the delay. So you have power and can hear the motor spinning? Sounds like the axle shaft might be broken

Thank you for your reply and yes you are correct. The driver side axle later broke completely. I've been researching replacement for broken Kinetek axle and having a tough time finding one. Someone mentioned a club car axle should work. Do you know if this is correct?

I'd really like to get it repaired since everything else is working well and I just replaced the batteries last year.

Any help/guidance is great appreciated.

Brian

Brian, Has this thing been stuck in yard for the last 3 years?? Last post Sunoco did on here was 4-8-21, so I'm afraid he is gone from here. You can call Southern Stealth Parts in LA (985) 241-5345, they are pretty knowledgable about these Stealths. Look at this video, he mentions what kind of axle it is:

Another suggestion would be to call Revolution Glf Cars (one of our site sponsors) in Augusta. Stealths were made in Georgia, so I'm sure he is familiar with them and may know who made the axles.

3 years of stuck in the yard seems to be a really, really, really long time...??

I'm not sue about if Club Car would work, I do know that there is a lot of club car parts used in these. You could pull the axle and check the spline count, other specs. and see.

Haha, we had an axle welded on and it held up for while. I guess about 3 years .

Thanks for the information BAMA, greatly appreciated.

Here is another source for Stealth parts. I haven't ordered from them, but saw where they sell them.
