always engaged clutch
Have a 1990 2 stroke gas ezgo. It is always engaged, is this a clutch gone bad or is there an electric component to it that may be sticking? think there may be a celinoid stuck open?? the nuetral does not work... Is there a way to test?

Re: always engaged clutch
Lets start with the cart off the ground, rear axle on blocks, safe is good.
Lift the seat is the drive belt tight, can you turn the rear wheels and see the secondary clutch spin? The drive belt will slip in thedrive clutch unless it is stuck closed. You may have to pull the drive clutch to clean and lube, repair? |
