Pick up coil on 1982 ezgo is it needed to produce fire?
I have a 1982 ezgo gas that is not firing. Need to know if the pick up coil is somehow connected. Everything else look good.

Re: Pick up coil on 1982 ezgo is it needed to produce fire?
I have a 1982 ezgo gas golf cart that is not firing. Does the pick up coil behind the flywheel have anything to do with the fact the cart is not firing? I have a new main coil and solenoid is getting fire from the battery.

Re: Pick up coil on 1982 ezgo is it needed to produce fire?
It's an essential piece of equipment that rarely goes bad.
It is the trigger that tells the igniter when to fire the coil. It's called the pulsar. Towards the end of this manual is the troubleshooting section that gives ohm values for testing the pulsar. After you read the manual, this thread will probably be real interesting to you. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...3pg-carts.html |
