Welcome to bgw!
There should be a row of solenoids behind the batteries? |

Re: 87 elec CC goes without pressing pedal
Just wanted to verify that you had the 5 solenoid speed control system..... the problem is either in the peddle or the microswitches in the silver box at the end of the gas peddle linkage...... can you pull the peddle back up by hand and make it stop doing this?

Re: 87 elec CC goes without pressing pedal
no, it's not the pedal. it is all the way back. must be the microswitches.

Quote:
Inside the box are 5 microswitches operated by a plastic slide...... buy the 5 switches and the slide before you take it apart. It will be a simple replacement. |

Re: 87 elec CC goes without pressing pedal
The box has 2 long small bolts thru it they hold everything in place take it apart slowly as it falls apart after the second bolt comes out and you need to watch how it goes back.... You are welcome & Good luck
