Club car engine running fast then slow
I have a 92 gas club car that revs up and then slows down...it does this continuously. Any suggestions?

Re: Club car engine running fast then slow
Has anyone tried to speed it up? Could be the RPM limiter kicking in to cut out the spark when it spins too fast.

Re: Club car engine running fast then slow
Im gonna agree with meimk, sounds like a governer or rpm limiter issue. I would try bypassing the governor on the differential first, perhaps it is misadjusted to kick in at a low speed. If thats already bypassed and its still doing it, try disconnecting the ground on your rpm limiter. just absolutely make sure you do not rev the hell out of it, you will blow our engine. If its still having issues you might have an intermittent spark or fuel issue.
