Default 1988 Marathon radio installation.

I would like to install a radio in my 1988 gas Marathon. Do I need to install a second battery and isolator? Is there a special way to wire it so it doesn't run the battery down while sitting for short periods of time?

Default Re: 1988 Marathon radio installation.

it runs just like a car the voltage reducer keeps it at 12v
just like a car it will kill the battery if left for hours
