Should Starter turn over?
1997 EZGO Gas not sure of engine size.
Should the starter turnover if 12VDC is present at terminal? When pedal is pressed I have 12VDC but it doesn’t do anything. Sorry for asking a question they may have been answered already I’ve searched the site before asking. Any information or help would be great. Also in short how does the staring system work? I’m guessing that when the pedal is pressed it sends current to solenoid which then sends current to starter, and igniter. Which should turn the engine over. Is this the short version more or less? Thanks Keith PS Know I’ve asked many questions I’m trying to understand the general operation so I can trouble shoot the problem with the golf cart. Also I have searched for answers but didn’t find what I’m looking for before asking any questions. Thanks again. Last edited by krs_med; 07-10-2018 at 05:37 AM.. Reason: Mid spelling |
