Default Anyone know how to wire in half speed reverse?

I'm looking to add half speed reverse to my new setup. Curtis controller, PB-6 with reversing contactors. Anyone know how to do this as reverse is too fast for me now?

Did the cart have 1/2 speed reverse before? Usually a PB6 has an extra pair of wires that reduce throttle signal 50% when they are touched together. Test that - if yes we can proceed to explain how to use the second row of F&R switch terminals to activate this feature

It was an original Yamaha G3e. Not sure as I completely stripped it and put new controller, new PB-6, new solenoids etc. The PB-6 is wired exactly as the Curtis main diagram shows. I'm using reversing contactors though, not a FNR. What's the best way to proceed? I'm using a main WR solenoid and two WR solenoids for the reversing contactor setup.

Re read my post and answer my question.
Does the Pot have a 1/2 speed out put option?

Sorry it did not have half speed reverse prior to my knowledge. There are NO extra wires from the PB-6, unless you are referring to the 2 wires bundled together or the 3 terminals on the microswith. Pot box has 2 wires (Pot low and wiper) That's all there is...

Is the controller an Alltrax? They have reduced reverse option.
Can you replace the pot with a 4 wire PB16 with reduced reverse option?

If I were to plan on a PB-16 instead, what exactly would I have to do?

The PB16 is a 4 wire version of the PB6. Both have the same micro switch and 0-5k throttle signal. The PB16 has a second pair of wires that go to any on/off switch. When these two wires are touching each other (on) the PB16 signal output is reduced by 50%. Make sure you get a 4 wire version.

In the case where a 6 terminal rocker switch is used with a reversing contactor, only one row of 3 terminals is used for the directional switching. One the empty row connect one of the throttle reducing leads to the center pin and one to the reverse active pin in the same row. Use you meter to determine which 2 pins have continuity when the switch is in reverse. This is all that is needed.

Thanks Scotty...So if I'm using a 6p White Rodgers solenoid for reverse, can you clarify which exact terminals I would use for the 2 wires; since I'm not using a rocker switch rather a key ignition for forward and reverse?
