So in your case the key is the rocker switch. I'm not familiar with that switch so I cannot advise but, you can simply put the pot signal reduction wires on any on/off switch and activate it when desired.
Does that make sense ?
Are you understanding how this works?
Because the solenoid question is sort of out of left field to me.
The Pot will have 2 extra wires that simply connect 1 to the other to reduce the pot out put.
Maybe time to go back and re read the whole thread

BTW do you know where a PB-16 can be purchased from?

It seems like the PB-16 is a $200 solution for a $0.20 problem... and You still need a switch to "manually" reduce the speed.

You can use a relay and a simple resistor to reduce the speed.

I am assuming you have a 0-5kΩ throttle.

The 5.1kΩ resistor will give you approximately 50% speed.

The 9.1kΩ resistor will give you approximately 65% speed.

You can connect the relay coil wires on the left of the diagram directly to the side of your reversing contactor that gets powered in reverse.

I Just listed all possible sources that can be used for the +36v activation signal.

Basically when the relay is powered it adds another resistor in parallel with your throttle signal and limits how high that signal can get.

It happens automatically when You are in reverse and it works with your existing PB-6.

Wow Sergio Thank you very much! If I'm running 48 volts would any of these recommended parts need to be changed such as the relay since it's says it's rated for 36 volts? If so, would you know the link to the 48v version?

Also, forgive my inexperience but do the relay coil wires on the left of the diagram connect to the small poles or the high voltage poles on the reverse contactor?

And I'm not sure about you question on the relay, Sergio or some one smarter about relays than me, would have to answer that. But I think you need a 48 volt relay

I think I just found the 48v version, if Sergio would like to verify I would appreciate it.
