The price was right, and the two strokes can be fun when running. I’d dig into it a little and see what it needs. Here’s mine, which I rebuilt from being seized up after a salt water flood. 1992 3PG.

Talking Re: Old E-Z-Go Golf Cart

after taking a closer look at everything. It does look to me all there (except the bolts, nuts and washers) Oh I do not see the air cleaner housing. So I will need to buy that. Plus all the cables are seized up. So those will need to be replaced also. The muffler and pipe is surprisingly fine. just rusty. So what i did is took a wire wheel and grinded off all the rust then sprayed them with a heat resistant paint thats good up to 2000 Degrees Fahrenheit.
It does look fixable. I just need the repair manual, but cannot seem to find one. I seen somewhere online yesterday that I am needing Parts Manual #:80047G1
Service Manual #: 18800G1 , but cannot find them anywhere.

Actually I believe it was your post that I found yesterday. You showed pictures of your motor that looks just like mine but you could not find the motor serial/part number.
Did you ever get those repair manuals?
Your cart looks amazing. Great job

If you definitely have an external starter/generator, you will be able to use this manual for wiring, and internal engine parts. If you have an engine that has points, and not a new electronic ignition, this manual won't help with that.
Your gas tank is in a different location, but that doesn't matter.

Let us know what you have for ignition, and I will look around.

That's twice I have forgotten to provide the link to the manual, and twice Rib has bailed me out.

Thankyou. This does look to be right. Although I didnt see anything on how the motor goes in and how its connected up. But I just skimmed over the book, so I may have just missed it. Thanks again.

Twice that I know of.
It's funny, I was just thinking it's time to change that tag line.
How do you feel about "Free project carts are not free"?

In other news...
If he has the newer engine, this project won't be so bad. Unlike that 3 wheeler that was on here a few days ago.
