Issue in Forward
First off I want to say I have gained a tremendous amount of information about carts from the people here and I hope I can find the answer to the issue I am having. I have a new to me 2004 gas TXT, when I put in forward it feels like it pops out of gear and I have a ratcheting sound like gears are not meshing. When I first step on the gas it seems to have to rev up a good bit before it will engage. Is this a clutch issue, rear end or axel.
Thanks Joe |

Re: Issue in Forward
I have more experience with this issue on Yamahas, but the first thing I would do is check the shifter cables. Make sure it is pulling the rear end far enough into gear.
