Battery Drain Issue
Yamaha G8, finally have cart running. it runs well for 100 yrds, then slows down. Drove about a mile and then measure voltage 36.34. Tested each battery each was 6.05-6.06
Batteries are new. Bought 3 four months ago, only used cart once to drive about 200 yards to see if it ran. Kept batteries charged. Bought additional 3 yesterday. all are within a 1/10 of a volt when charged. Charged Batteries: immediately after 40.6 2nd Charge: checked few minutes after charger turned off 39.6 Checked Charge 3 hours later 38.9 I will check at 12 hours.... Also, should there be power to motor when cart is off? measured terminals, it is 29.6 Thanks Craig |
