Re: Yet another no spark. Please help me fix this thing!
Fixed! The whole issue was my air gap on the pulsar. I got zero voltage while cranking I just loosened it and let it hang real close and boom, spark. Set the gap properly, And off she went. I think as I was tightening the bolts the gap would pull up and not be close enough for a signal. All buttoned up for now. Thanks for the help!

Re: Yet another no spark. Please help me fix this thing!
I've got a similar problem but suspect the spark plug wire. I can't seem to get the plug wire loose from the coil and am afraid to pull any harder on it so I can't see any good way to check it for continuity. Is it just me being overly cautious?
Secondary question the small red wire from the bottom of the F/R switch panel isn't connected to anything. The wiring diagram shows it going to ground. It had a female spade connector on the end, but I can't find anywhere it should be plugged in. Am I okay to just extend that wire and run it to a good frame ground? |
