Default 94 Marathon clutch lubrication

I picked up a 94 Marathon that had been sitting for a couple of years. I got it running with little effort however, the clutch seems to be sticking. The motor rev's up and gives a jerk and a squeal when it engages. Once running it does great and has lots of power. Everything on the clutch was covered with surface rust and I was wondering if I should open it up and possibly lubricate something inside or just keep driving it until it loosens up and smooths out?

You can take the dust cover off the drive clutch and take a look inside to see if there is any rust. More than likely rust is restricting the movement of the pucks. Take it apart and see the moving parts and lube accordingly. Removing the clutch will make this job alot easier. Also, if you do find some irreversable damage a new clutch is in order b/c there are no serviceable parts inside the drive clutch as I understand it...

Thanks for the advise, I'll give it a try tomorrow. I've never been inside a clutch, I guess it's about time I crack one open. Working on it off the cart sounds a lot easier, how tough is it to get the clutch off?
