Default 84 Club Car coil wanted

Spark on my 84 club car is going weak, everything else checks out OK so I need a coil. The cart does not get used a lot so I would rather try to find a used one to save some money. If anyone has a reasonably priced one let me know!

Thanks.

Yes, it is the exterior mounted coil. I checked out the exciter coil and everything else per the CC repair manual, it all leads to the external coil.

If I set the spark plug at the correct gap (0.23"-.028") it will not run, but if I close the gap down to .020" or less it starts right up, but after a few days it takes a little to get it running if it has been sitting for a while. Motor and carb was completely rebuilt a couple years ago (100psi compression) and carb was just cleaned and re-set. It all points back to coil. Unfortunately new ones are't cheap! We only use the cart a few weekends a year when we are at my in-laws camper, mainly for the kids to use, so I hate to dump a bunch more money into it.

Thanks!
