throttle problem
hey guys, im new to the site.
i just bought an 05 precedent. i just gave it a tune up (oil, new spark plug, new gas. it was sitting all winter in storage half full.) i took it out on my local golf course a couple of time already. when i put the pedal to the floor, the cart works great, cant complain about it. but when i try to use half throttle to look for the golf ball, it doesnt run right. it feels like its bogging. it will run then cut out and run. it does it over and over. just wondering what some of you guys think it could be. any help would be awesome. |

Re: throttle problem
Look for water in the gas. I had a similar operation problem and found water in the float bowl. If so, completely clean carb and gas tank. i removed ALL gas from tank, and swabbed what i couldnt siphon out with rags to ensure a clean dry tank. I added some seafoam to dry tank and topped off with fresh clean gas. Runs like a top.
