Re: 92CC wont fire
Could be a lot of things........ What did you wash it off with? Engine cleaner, scrub brush and light spray, full blast garden hose, high pressure washer?
First things I'd check: - Fuse - Electronics box (under breather hose) - Battery - Solenoid - VRM - Loose/bad connections Kinda vague on the symptoms and what you've already tried, so not much to go on... Sorry. |

Re: 92CC wont fire
was washed at car wash, high pressure spray, motor started and run for about 10 minutes and died, I can see a weak spark at times, let set for couple hours and tried again and got a good spark, motor ran for 1 minute and died......box under breather is dry, dont see any fuses blowed or bad connections, not sure what a VRM is....

Re: 92CC wont fire
It's a good possibility that you might have gotten the micro switches on the back of the F/N/R shifter wet!
If you have a leaf blower, or a hair dryer... blow them off really well and see if that helps! |

Re: 92CC wont fire
kinda confused because I know the coil has to have 12 volts to fire.....i can hook my 12 volt tester clip up to the positive on batt and touch the pointy probe to the wire that leads to the coil and it lights up, to me im not real good at this stuff but it is showing it has a ground...

Re: 92CC wont fire
The best I can suggest is give it a day or 2 to let it dry out, your not the only one that this has happened to!
Sadly, water got somewhere where it shouldn't be! Wish I could help more! |
