I challenge you to find this part
Hello everyone. Up until now I have found the answer to every one of my questions somewhere on this site. What a great forum? However, I believe I may have come up with the one question not asked yet. I am restoring a 2002EZ GO Workhorse 1200 which was missing a few parts all of which I found through online retailers with one exception. I was missing the choke plate assembly which mounts under the seat. I was able to find the actual plate but not the retaining clip which holds it in place. Heck I can't even find a part number or correct name for it as it is not even mentioned in the parts manual. A part number or link to a one for sale (new or used) would be greatly appreciated.

Re: I challenge you to find this part
I have another unlocatable part for my 2002 Workhorse 1200
I managed clip a pole with the left wheel and bent the tie rod all to hell. The stock one was the tubular, female threaded end type which I was unable to find a stock replacement; therefore, I ordered the replacement assembly (solid tie rod with threaded male ends) and sealed tie rod ends (Part # 70876-G02). Unfortunately the assemble did not come with new castle/slotted nuts for the rod ends which are a coarser a thread than the originals. I have searched high and low through every manual and cannot locate the part number for these nuts to order. I have been to Home Depot, Ace Hardware and Pepboys and can't ones that fit. Can someone help me out? Last edited by Skizix; 07-23-2014 at 09:18 PM.. Reason: bad grammar |
