thanks to essness
Yesterday i installed my linear actuator for the dump bed on my 98 1200 workhorse. i want to thank essness for posting on how and whats needed for the lift. the install went easy. the only thing i don't like is how far it will go up. i used a actuator that is 14-1/4 closed and 19-1/2 open with a 6 inch throw with 1000lb lift cap. i was hopeing it would lift up more but i guess i got spoiled on how far it lifted manually. thanks for all you done

Re: thanks to essness
Scot helped me out with mine on another Workhorse project too - Good info there. I ended up making a bracket and doubling up 600 pounders with (If I remember correctly) a 14" throw, after relocating the mounting holes on the bed I was able to finally dial them in to take the bed fully vertical, it took some creative tweaking though
