Ignition Coil Question
well i was riding around on my cc yesterday and it started bogging all of the sudden and it took me an hour to drive home going really slow and getting an occasional burst of speed so im thinking that my ignition coil is bad so i took it off today and cleaned it up and im going to try it again in a few minutes just wondering do you think that is the problem i.e. do i need to replace it
Thanks In advance John |

Re: Ignition Coil Question
What does the oil level on the dipstick show? Does the oil have a heavy
gas smell? |

Re: Ignition Coil Question
i would check the fuel system.......start at the filter that comes off the tank and work towards the carb.......sure sounds like a fuel problem.......low oil isn,t good so take care of that but i think you have a fuel problem.....................

Re: Ignition Coil Question
Sounds like you had oil getting in the pulse hose that runs the fuel pump. Moving it higher will keep it drained back into the block. Check the pulse line for cracks, you might have just sealed a crack when you moved it higher.
