![]() First time cart owner and trying to fix up the ole girl. Trying to replace the Driven clutch but have been unsuccessful removing the driven clutch bolt. Does anybody know if it’s the ole lefty loosey/righty tighty or is it reversed to remove the bolt?
Any other tricks/tips I should know about replacing the driven clutch? Thanks in advance! |

![]() Lefty loosey with an impact wrench. Note the order of your washers etc. If you are replacing it with a new one, its pretty straightforward.

![]() Just remove mine and I was able to get the bolt out without issue, but had to use a mallet to get the clutch removed for the shaft. I held the clutch together with one hand, in order to reduce the banging and rotated the clutch after each strike. It took probably 5 minutes of this, but once I moved it an inch or so, it slid right off.
