Windshield Project
Decided to throw a windshield on the buggy for the spring and fall months. Needed something "quick detatch" and was shooting for something to keep the wind of the chest yet be somewhat sporty.
Made some brackets out of some square tube, flat and angel stock. This bolts through the front cowl and utilizes the metal triangular support piece. Then made the frame from some 1/2"od hydraulic tubing, tacked on some corners to fasten the acrylic. Drilled and taped a hole in the bracket for a set screw. Used flat heads with a large slot so a simple penny or nickle can be used to remove for ease. Cut the acrylic and fastened it to the frame using chrome hardware. |

Re: Windshield Project
Looks great! Now throw some limo tint on it to finish it off.
