Re: Club car (DC) Issues
Looking at your video again I noticed something weird. You have a spring connecting the throttle rod to the carburetor. When you hit the gas pedal the spring just expands and doesn't move the carburetor butterfly lever. You should have a solid rod connecting those two. That would definitely explain why you're not able to get moving. Instead of pushing the pedal to get started, move that lever on the carb with by hand. This appears to be a linkage issue.
Here's a video of mine running. Note how whenever I push the gas pedal, that lever at the top of the carb moves. |

Re: Club car (DC) Issues
Yes I bought the cart from a guy who had the govenor off and he had that set up with a set screw on the carb in place of it to control the speed. So to increase or decrease the speed you just turn the set screw he has set in the carb. It worked I guess :) everything is still the way it was, nothing has moved or fallen off of it.

Re: Club car (DC) Issues
Well try moving the lever anyway by hand instead of the gas pedal. Your carb butterfly is obviously not opening via the linkage set up.

Must have had the idle screw set for one, predetermined speed and used the gas pedal, and it's microswitch, as an on/off.

Re: Club car (DC) Issues
Ok guys I putz around with it for an hour and found a wire lose on the solenoid. No idea if it was the culprit but it seems to crank up every time now. Now I'll go figure out why it's going slow. I'm sure it has something to do with the throttle as u mentioned above sir. My son will be thrilled if his dad can get his wheels back. :) I'm glad I found this forum. Thank you for ur help!
