cant get it to start
I have a 81 244cc e-z-go the starter/generater will go the fuel pump pumpes the spark plug sparks it seem to be getting gasand still cant get it to work
  . does any one know what i should do next. The more help the beter. Thanks |

its an '81' is it a 2-stroke? do you have compression?

You say it seems to be getting gas. Have you sprayed the carb. to see if it would start? If she picks up you've got a flow prob. somewhere. If your compression is that good and you have a solid, steady spark, fuel is all you should need. Compression that good should rule out the obvious two stroke problems like seals, valves and rings. Must be something with the fuel or spark...

clean the carb today got it to start but now she smoking real bad. Thank for you help it was really need. I am new at this so all the help is munch appreciated.

You might check your mix on your gas. Mix may be too strong..

No problem... Just thinkin outloud, it might be burnin some excess fuel in the cylinder from previous attempts to start so mix adjustment with some run time might clear it up.
