Default What dose 50 to 1 mean

I have a 2 stroke 244cc engine they say that the gas needs to be 50 to 1 what does that mean?

The ratio of gas to oil. It is a two stroke engine and if it doesn't have oil injection you need to mix the oil and gas. Most good two stroke oils have a ratio chart on the back of the bottle to tell you how many ounces of oil to put to each gallon of gas in order to achieve the correct ratio.

My 244cc is 1.5 ounces of oil to a gallon of gas.
