ez go gas cold start 9 hp
older cart maybe 96 97 model txt 9hp gas.. very hard to start when cold, around 20-30 degrees.. Most likely a carb issue.. What do you guys think. It will just turn and turn and will not fire at all. spark through both plugs..

Re: ez go gas cold start 9 hp
Hello,
Check the valves on their clearance. Blow the carb clean. Check the choke. Check the compression after checking the valves. If this doesn't work, clean the carb with some carburettor cleaner or let it sit sometime in it. Everything ok? Then it has to fire up. Benno |

I would make sure the choke is closing completely. If the choke doesn't close you will have chronic no start cold problems.
