Engine problem.
2007 Ez-go Txt
295cc Robins I do alot more reading and hardly any writing on here but I have a problem. I am rebuilding a 2007 txt and i recently pulled the body for paint. I took the cart and wanted to wash the engine. I used degreaser first, then I used aluminum acid for the tough spots on the motor and diff.. I only used a water hose no power washer. After washing the cart I cranked it and it now sounds as if its not reving as it should as if it is hitting only on one cycliner. I put it back in the shop now and going to let it all dry before I start to find the problem hopefully it will dry itself. I did check the airbox/filter and it was dry. And I had recently service the cart also. Thanks |

Re: Engine problem.
sounds like the ignition got wet, or maybe the plug wires are wet and shorting out, pull plug wire at cylinder head and spray some WD40 inside of boot and around spark plug see if that helps displace moisture
