No Spark
I have been trobleshooting a no spark issue on my easygo. It ran fine and I parked it for a few days an now there is no spark. I have replaced the coil, selonoid, checked pulser coil, ran continuity through the ignition circut wires, and still all I get is on very faint spark after I let up on the pedal and just before the engine stops rotating. Is the coil supposed to have power to the + side continuously when the pedal is depressed? Mine does not, just one little blink (with a 12V tester) when the motor is just stopping turning over. Chasing this electrical stuff is irratating to say the least and any help would be much appreciated.

Re: No Spark
What year is your car? I would be happy to help but all I know is the pre 1993 engines.

Re: No Spark
It is a late 90's Jaconsen Hauler 1110 4 stroke. I found the problem today after reading a few related posts, fircken micro switch on the pedal after new coil, selenoid, pulser coil etc. At least I have a bunch of new parts in her now.
Thanks |
