G22 Speakers in Kick Panel Question
This G22 I'm working on, gotta put speakers in the kick panels. This cart has the diamond plate panel at the base of the panel. Seems like the pass. side speaker will be in front of the fuel pump. actually too close. Will the fuel pump work normally if I move it to a location where it will be laying flat rather then standing vertically? Will that mess up how the diaphragm inside works?

Re: G22 Speakers in Kick Panel Question
If u put the speakers as low as u can it will work.
There is a little tab on the bottom of the fuel pump that I had to cut off to get it to work. |

Re: G22 Speakers in Kick Panel Question
thanks for the help.
I just finished the project tonight, ended up cutting the bracket that holds the fuel pump off, had to make my own speaker enclosures out of fiberglass and then re-mounted the fuel pump to the enclosure. Everything fit back together nicely and it looks nice and clean. |
