When I got my cart G1 1984 I thought what goes here? anyone have the answer?

It's been like that since I got the cart...and it runs fine?..do you know which line should be plugged in to that? I am running all photo (7).jpgnew lines since they are pretty old..

I believe it is the over flow for the carb float bowl. loop a piece of fuel line up and over the carb and down to a safe spot to dump fuel if your float sticks.

I have replaced lines an still seeing fuel leaking...So it's overflowing pretty regularly so I have a problem with my float right?

Or a sticky or stuck needle or float out of adjustment my 82 had a piece of hose on that fitting that ran down out the bottom of Cart
