Ezgo Txt -1997 - Pedal sticking/Cart will not run

Good morning!

Had a issue pop up a few weeks ago where I noticed the pedal sticking. Ran for about two holes after I noticed this, and then it stopped running. We tested the batteries, which were fine according to the voltmeter. We lubed the pedal thinking that it may help. But alas, the cart will not run.

We recently replaced the front and rear leaf springs, shocks, wheels/tires and brake line due to the passenger line being snapped. We did cut the floor mat a bit to get to the bolts on the top of the front leaf spring. The cart ran fine for two days, roughly 40 holes, and then sat for a week before we ran into the issue.

We thought we traced the issue to the accelerator micro switch, and it ran for a bit after replacing. However, the cart would not run again the next morning. We heard clicking from the solenoid after replacing the micro switch, but did not hear it again this morning. (No clicking prior to fixing and no clicking this morning)

Any thoughts on what could be the issue?

Series cart or DCS?

I am new to owning a cart, so how can I tell?

Shifter is probably by your leg, DCS has a silver puck behind the handle and a run/tow switch on the controller cover. Series will have a rod behind the handle going to a rotating switch in front of the controller.

I have a run and tow switch on the controller cover with the f/r shifter by the leg.

Just to add to this, the cart ran fine when the micro switch was bypassed. Ran right after the new micro switch was installed. Charged overnight, and made it through one hole the next morning before stopping again.

Heard clicking in the solenoid after replacing the switch, and when the car first ran the next morning. No click again now that the cart will not run.
