Voltage Reducer Upgrade: 16v input to 48v input
Hello all, I am about to upgrade my brother-in-law's Precedent from the little Madjax 16v input reducer to a 48v input reducer.
I plan on installing and wiring the 48v reducer the same way I did my cart here: https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/show...2&postcount=15 Right now the only 12v accessories he has is a car stereo, street legal light kit, and some aux lights. Should be easy enough figuring out where to tap into the harness to power the accessories. Has anyone tackled this upgrade that could offer any tips, tricks, or issues I may run into? |

Re: Voltage Reducer Upgrade: 16v input to 48v input
I put an OEM reducer in mine and found it to be plug-and-play. The only thing that confused me was the trigger wire for the reducer; it connects to the brake relay which in turn connects to the key switch.
