Default Engine Help!!!!!

I had a part that came un-hook on the my throttle gauge and was able to snap it back where it goes. However, now when I push the accelerator, I get good gas for a second then the engine seems to buckle up (when you look at it) and the before metioned part comes unhooked.
i hope i make sense, but for somereason i do not know what is happening.

Any chance you could post a picture of the gauge that is coming off when it buckles?
The fix will depend on which one you are refering to, the upper or lower.
I'm thinking you might have some bad engine mounting isolation rubbers.

Be nice to know what model cart/engine your talking about.
Just out of curiosity, what's a "throttle gauge" ?
pics would be helpful.

And furthermore, what does and engine look like when it "buckles up"?

Just a guess, but, are we talking about 'throttle linkage'? and does the throttle linkage bend or 'buckle' at the joint where it passes between the clutch and the block?

I do not have a pic now, im at work, but i found this picture on the Tech Page and it is the same assembly as mine. The part that comes unattached is to the left of the regulator. I have put a full picture and then a cropped picture so you can see what i am talking about.
My cart is 1995 EZ Go, with a Robin engine I beleive the model # is eh29e.
And by buckle, I mean it lifts up. not sure if that explains it any better.

Broken engine mounts is my guess. Can you grab the engine and shake it?
