Default how to and what kind rear end fluid change

want to change thye rear fluid whats the easyest way and what type of fluid weight ratio ??

SAE 80 will do it and here is a nice article on how. Although it is for a 2 stroke the principles are the same.

Bump for this good question. I also have the ME29 rear end with 6to1 gears, and a GSX-R 600 motor. Please let us know guys. The manual calls for 30w, but i think people are going thicker oil. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

You can go to this site http://products.jacobsen.com/img/manuals/605586.pdf and it will let you download the tech. manual. After it downloads, go to page 163. It will show you how and where to do what you are asking. It also has a section on recomended fluids.

I can't find drain or fill on my 89 rear end. The only thing I see is the breather on the rear end. I had my cart on its side painting the bottom and leaked some fluid out. Can't find the fill so I added some in the breather just so I can test the cart.
