YAY!! They arrived today, all FOUR of them! AHHHh the smell of new rubber!! I am very happy with the tread and quality look of the tire. They are called Turf Traxs. I plan on taking the old tires off the rims and sanding and repainting the rims before I get the new tires put on. As of right now, they are chrome (paint that is) and rust . I am thinking of keeping it chrome, but black is in the back of my head.

No pics as of yet... soon though! Stay tuned!

Got a chance to take some pics tonight. Got one of the front tires to see if I could get it off the rim.

Old back compared to the new one!

So my question, how do I get the old tires off the rims? I want to have just the rims so I can paint them easier. Ideas?

If you can get one area broken from the bead, just take a stiff screwdriver around the bead on each side. To break a spot loose, I took a rubber mallet and beat the crap out of it.

Oh, and deflate them ALL the way first.

Revisiting this thread...

After a full summer of use and abuse, these tires have held up beautifully! I had all the grip I needed in the woods, on grass, on dirt, and of course, pavement. They sling mud everywhere and make a mess, but what is mudding without being covered?!

I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone with a stock height cart looking for cheap, good quality traction tires. Not only do they enhance the look of your cart, they add to your off-road fun-ability! Great for tearing up that unwanted lawn as well...
