Rxv solenoid is always on when Key is on. There is a timeout, something like 20 minutes of no activity.

I can confirm that I connected mine as described above and that there is power to the accessories (lighted switches and LED headlights and LED lights in tray) only when the key is in these three reverse/neutral/forward positions...whether the cart is moving or stationary. When key is in off position there is no power to the accessories.

Thank you both so much for your help, it makes me feel better before hooking it up. Just trying to not kill my control panel while learning! Any recommendation as to where to mount the DC converter? It says it's supposed to be mounted to the frame because it gets hot but I can't find a good place on the frame to mount it to. Thanks again!

I have 4 12v batteries, I mounted mine in the big open space under the driver using a L shaped bracket to the floor(so it stands upright...did same thing with fuse panel (beside it)

Mounted mine in a marine battery box next to my fuse block under drivers seat. Plenty of room with 6 batteries.

I didn't initially read the directions and mounted mine on the driver's side wheel well cover. Once I saw it was supposed to be on metal, I just decided to add some 1 1/2 spacers. I'm saving the flat area there for when I upgrade to 42v. If it gets so hot that it damages the plastic with that setup, f the thing.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, I'm about to do this. Does anyone have a picture of the location on the solenoid? I have a 2014 RXV that I'm about to wire a reducer to in conjunction with a fuse block.

Looks like my amp draw for my stereo is roughly 10 Amps for the soundbar and 15 max for the sub---I have a 30Amp reducer
