The big question, is it worth the money for the extra speed? Obviously you are going to loose torque but with the low gear option that is taken care of when needed... 🤔

It is a 36 volt PDS stock motor and controller. It runs 21 mph with 17" tall tires with the stock rear end.

I drag race and need to tow my car less than 5 mph in the pits. As it sits it doesn't like to go that slow pulling a 2500 lb car and I'm concerned I will damage the motor or controller.


The 20 to 1 ratio should get the rpm up into a more favorable range for towing around the pits.

The 10 to 1 ratio should help the top end 3 or 4 mph, we'll see when I get it installed.


I'm planning on using JohnnieB's cart as a guide to upgrade this one after the rear end install.
