Put your cart in the diagnostic mode and see what codes you get. At the bottom of label it tells you how to get it in diagnostic mode. Report back with that information and someone here can point you in the right direction.

You have to attempt to drive your cart to get the codes to beep.

On second thought I don’t know if the 2000 model PDS has this ability. Maybe JohnnieB will chime in on this.

FYI: The only difference in the early model year 2000 PDS was the F/R assembly, where F/R was located and the control wiring harness going to the F/R. Other than that, all 36V PDS carts are the same.

I don't have a schematic for the early 2000 PDS specifically, but they are the same electrically as the later models.

Basically, the early ones used two microswitches and a cam to create the mechanical equivalent of the SPDT/center off rocker switches used in later production.

First thing to check is the voltage on the smaller of the three wires coming out of the backside of the charge receptacle.
Should be same as battery pack voltage unless charger is plugged into cart.

To get solenoid to click, you have to have battery pack voltage on all the wires highlighted in red on attached schematic.
