Default 98 EZGO won't hold charge

It's a 98 EXGO txt series cart. Batteries are 6 months old and all tested good. Basically the cart starts off good for first 20 minutes then the cart begins to lose power quickly. Charger also tested good. I also checked all connections. Any ideas?

Hmm the batteries are 6 months old and were tested so I guess it's not your batteries. Do any wires going to motor or controller feel hot? I can't be sure but your controller may have an issue. Once it dies down after 20 minutes take a reading of the pack voltage and see what it is. Do you test your batteries with a meter or a load tester?

I tested with meter. Pack tested at 37.6. I will drive around tomorrow and feel wires going to motor and get back.

Did you get 37.6 fully charged and rested? It looks a bit low, 38.2 is the standard for a 36v pack.

Test each battery for voltage to see if you do not have a dud in the pack.

Here is JonnieB SOC chart for reference. 37.6 is about 80% charged.
