For the DS PQ04 (IQ drive) I suggest the XCT48400 for the stock motor and XCT500 for any aftermarket motor.
You can get the 500a unit and have the dealer program for the stock motor now and you leave open the possibility of installing any aftermarket motor later.

Is there a way to test the motor before I buy a controller, I would like to know if thats all I will need to buy. And, What's a good place to buy? What about a package deal for, motor controller, solenoid, resistor, diode, cables. Any Ideas?
