I know..... Already filled everything in case I have to run and got 50 gallons of gas stored and the generator has already been tested.

P.S. Hope it comes around some with the batteries....

I scrapped the old batteries. I couldn't get them to hold a decent charge overnight. I did charge them up about. Dozen times before I gave up.

Put a set of T-875s in. Seem to be fine. However the cart only reaches a top speed of 17 Mph with 1 person in it and 12 with 4.

It has stock 8" rims it think 18x 8.5-8 tires.
Series cart with Curtis 300 Amp 1204-412 controller.

Is there anything I can do with that controller to make it run faster?

How large a tire and rim setup can I go without adding a lift kit?

How much speed would I gain from a tire upgrade? I figure the tires on it will wear fairly quickly as they are not DOT rated and we will be driving mostly paved pathways.

Should I have started a new topic? Do these questions belong in this section?

Thanks.

Anthonyc,

I think you can go to a 20.5 inch tire on a 12" wheel without a lift kit, but others who have done it can confirm or deny. That would be a 215/40 X 12 tire,

If you go to the 20.5" tire you should pick up 1-2 MPH, but if you have any hills in your area you will also lose some torque.

You can look at Revolution Golf Cars web site, link pasted below for ideas about speed upgrades.

All your questions are fine in this section, this is the section for Club Car electrics.
