2001 ezgo pds stops
I have an ezgo pds with new batteries. Cart runs great on flat ground but will stop when going up a hill. if i sit a few feet up a hill and try to go, it won't move and it feels like something slips and it'll roll back a little. Is it voltage or the rear end or the motor. Any help appreciated.

Sounds like torque but is your charger working ok? It could be differential or motor but probably not

yes,charger is working and theres a full charge. it will blast off on flat ground and go like crazy up a slight hill. will climb a fill with a run at it too as long as its a short hill. start a few feet up a hill and you have a problem.

everythings stock. I just bought the cart so i know nothing about the history of it. I thought voltage so i changed all battery cables to 4 ga but that didnt help. nothing gets hot and batteries are 2017 trojans.

Good point they can also be partially stripped. Using that extra torque to get up a hill might just make the teeth fail to grab

I'll check that but would that slowly slow it down to a stop or would it be sudden? This is slowly.
