Upgrading from 36v to 48v
I have a 97 DCS. Previously I have upgraded the controller to an Alltrax
XCT48500DCS, 400 super solenoid, and 2g cables. I have just acquired 6 8 Volt Trojan batteries and would like to make the conversion to 48V. My question is, do I program the alltrax first while still on the 36V pack or install the 48V pack then program? And I see Scotty has 2 different 48 Volt chargers for sale now. Which one should I get? Thanks, Alan... |

Re: Upgrading from 36v to 48v
Zero program changes need to be made when switching from 36-48v.
Get the DPI - It's the only one available now... be about 8 weeks be fore we see any more of the Yewey. We are having some small change made. |

Re: Upgrading from 36v to 48v
That's easy! Thanks.
I'll hit you up on the charger in a couple of weeks when I get back in town. Maybe we can arrange a time for me to pickup and avoid shipping! Alan... |
