Controller rebuild/upgrade service?
Where do you send off controllers to be rebuilt/upgraded?
Or does anyone have a decent used 350-400a controller for a txt cart? |

If you have an account with FSIP it is around $110 for a 1206 rebuild that includes a 1 year warranty. There is also CAPS Services, which is about $75-100 and also has a one year warranty, however I don't have any experience with them- I am sending in a 1206sx to them this week for a trial run. If you want an upgrade I like the Alltrax xct 48400, it is a 400 amp programmable controller with a 2 year warranty. The wiring harness is a direct fit and it comes with a universal mounting kit for about 450 or so, it can also run at 48 volts if you ever wanted to really beef up your cart |

I’ve used the Alltrax SR48400 and never thought it was worth rebuilding an old controller. The new ones are so much better, and user programmable.
