Mtbman, just for my own learning, how much power will he get to the sub by bridging those other two channels? 100 watts? Are most multi channel amps designed that way, where you can bridge just certain channels? Great information. Thanks

Based on the info provided, the sub would get 200 Watts RMS, but that is likely high since the RMS rating takes into account the input voltage to the amp being around 14.2 volts. So in real world cart use, it’s going to be much less. That can be said for the other channels as well, but it’s better than what the head unit would provide.

If you can find the manual for the amp online it will probably tell you what the amp draw is so you don’t have to try and calculate it yourself.

Are you running just 50 Watts to the sub, then?

Which cart do you have?

How did you wire the reducer? Does yours have a trigger wire to turn it on/off?

Were your lights factory lights, with the three position key switch? There’s quite a few threads on installing reducers, and if you want them turned on with the key or a separate switch. A quick search should find what you need. FWIW, everything in mine has a separate switch, including the reducer, but that’s because I use the stereo, etc often when the cart is stationary and I don’t want to worry about someone accidentally hitting the go pedal. It all depends on how you use your cart.

Post which cart you have, 3 position key switch?, which reducer (separate trigger wire?) and how you wired it.
Sorry for the long response, been busy with the holidays.

No idea how many watts i'm running to the sub.
2000 exgo txt is the cart type
The reducer is one thats had a constant 12v out and a one that has a switched 12v. The constant is always on and keeps my trackimo anti theft gps powered constantly as well as the memory to the radio. the acc is connected to the switched 12v thats activated by the key switch.
The lights are also wired to the key switch and connected to an independent switch.
I didn't wire the reducer independently. i hate switches and buttons so i wanted as few as possible on the dash.

anyway heres an updated picture of the dash. test fit ended up looking pretty good
