Voltage Reducer Wiring for RXV
I have a 30 amp voltage reducer that I want to install on my RXV. The voltage reducer has a + and - 48v input and a + and - 12v output. I want the voltage reducer to only be on when the key is switched. My question is can I wire the 48v + input to the solenoid side that is switched? Or would my best course of action be to wire directly to the batter pack with a toggle switch in line?
Please advise. Thanks! |

Wire it directly to the pack. Use a switch to turn it on/off.

Hook 48v B- to pack negative. Hook 48v B+ to solenoid large terminal on solenoid that goes from solenoid to controller B+. The solenoid on a Rxv is generally always on when the key is in any position other than Off.
