steering unit
need to replace the outer rack ball end located at the end of the steel circular bar that runs thru the steering unit itself..NOT the tie rod ends.this ball joint with the grease nipple appears to be connected via a 17mm nut..with the ball joint shaft going into this 17mm nut..cant seem to loosen either..any ideas on how to remove this outer rack ball end..Cheers...John

Re: steering unit
Can't loosen? Does the nut and the stud spin together? There should be a thin hex - I think 14 mm, on the stud just beyond the bar it goes through.
