Default Pre charge resister

Ezgo 48v Sniper cart, new batts, cables. Cart recently getting jerky, then a no go with one green and 6 red flashes. Noticed there was a resister from solenoid to the bolt that holds controller on cart, the solid wire was burnt/corroded in half, I reconnected it with new terminals and such, when I turned key on and hit pedal the heat shrink started smoking. Not sure why there is a resister there? Also changed ITS, the box had oil in it so figured I’d give that a shot. It moved in reverse for a short time then the 1 green and 6red’s again. 500a spm. Also installed resister and diode on solenoid. The cart has never had any. And has been trouble free other than basics.. solenoid, Batt’s, brakes, new cables. Possible the controller finally gave it up after all those yrs w/o the diode and resister? Any help is appreciated

Also, I get 4 green, then a solid green with light pedal, once I press pedal past a certain mark, it’s the 1g and 6red. Diode is installed red to red and black to black on solenoid.

What controller is in the cart?
You may be describing a filter capacitor to the ground.... without it you could just be experiencing throttle signal interference?

Before I order I’m more curious about how that works, it was from solenoid to bolt for controller, seems nothing is that simple for me, always the hard expensive way, thx again.

It's just for Ezgo, offered for SPM controllers with weird throttle signal interference

Actually I was confused... that resister went from b- on controller to grd bolt, not solenoid. At any rate, hopefully it will fix her up!!
