LV3648 charger
I was fortunate to get a 2002 club car 4 seat villager from a friend of mine for nothing. Runs great, batteries are still in good condition, and came with a LV 3648 charger. The charger seems to be charging the batteries well. When the main charge is in effect, I could hear the cooling fan running and the amperage indication on the meter. When it reaches a full charge I could hear the main charge operation shut down. It doesn’t completely shut down as I can hear the charger humming. Is it in a trickle charge mode or is it in fact a complete shut down? I do understand that it is supposed to restart to a full charging mode if the batteries lose power. I haven’t ever reach that point yet with my golf cart.
