Default Question about riding with a bad back

Hi all. Sorry if this is a weird question......but I'm probably known for that. haha

I am 70 and lots of body parts are breaking down. We own 35 acres of fields and woods and my husband has kept many trails through this property mowed, so I could ride my EZGO through them. My legs are bad, so this cart has really been my life-line to my garden, the barn, the fields and woods.

Recently I developed a ruptured disc in my lower back. (My back has always been the only thing that didn't hurt!) I'm having more MRIs to determine what's needed to fix it. But....I got to thinking.......Has riding over this rough countryside worsened this? If I need surgery, will they tell me I can't ride my cart again? Just curious if any of you have had bad problems that were worsened by riding your cart over bumpy ground? Through all my aches and pains, I never even considered that my cart rides could be causing/worsening the pain. If they tell me I shouldn't ride it any more, I think I'd rather have the pain, than give up my cart rides through nature.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

I have had 2 back surgeries (decompression / fusion) . depending on what they do will determine how long before you can bounce down the trails again. no you wont be barred from riding your cart from it , you will just have to pace yourself back into it .
